Please Note: In case you’re wondering why we have two websites, please let me explain. The main website, RoyalPalmChurch.org, is built on WordPress (WP) platform and allows me to add social media plug-ins and make updates using the WP platform architecture. So, this site is better for Social Media. The other website, RoyalPalmPresbyterianChurch.com, is a Google Business Listing, and this serves a few purposes. One, as a Google Business Listing, it is ranked high, on the first page, for Google searches for “Royal Presbyterian Church near me” specifically when searched in a nearby zip code. As Google dominates the search engine market, they rank their own listings higher than other listings. Two, this allows me (the website guy) ability to connect a dedicated gmail (email) account and see “under the hood” as to how many people are viewing the content (pictures, videos, updates) via Google analytics sent to the gmail. Three, I was, thankfully, able to purchase “RoyalPalmPresbyterianChurch.com” for the website and link it directly to the Google Business Listing website. In short, this additional website helps the page to rank and views. This is one aspect of SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
